Drake Chambers is as arrogant as I am stubborn. A college quarterback, a national star. I thought he was just another one of those guys … the type every girl should stay away from, but he’s carrying more than the weight of the football team on his shoulders.

Emery: Describe Drake is six words and explain why you chose those words.

When I first met Drake, I thought he was arrogant. I still think he’s a little arrogant but that’s what happens when a person’s told over and over that they’re good at something. He’s talented and sexy, and he knows it.

When I started working with Drake on the speech topic, I thought he was lazy but really, he’s one of the most hard-working people I know. He went to school, worked and played ball to keep his family going.

The thing that bothers me the most is how stubborn he is. Once he has his mind set on something, he doesn’t easily let it go. I’ve learned some negotiating tactics along the way, which helps.

He’s kind and thoughtful. He has the best of intentions even if he encounters a few bumps along the way. The way he bailed me out during our speech, and what he did on Thanksgiving, meant the world to me.

And I don’t know if I should say this, but he’s horny all the time. Whenever he can get me alone for more than two minutes, he’s all over me. Sometimes, I play hard to get, but the truth is, he never has to work too hard. He’s hard to resist, all man and muscle.
