Seattle architect Adam Sullivan is well known for his brilliant historic building restorations—and for having absolutely no interest in love and marriage. He’s happy for his siblings and cousins who have found true love, but though they’re clearly hellbent on seeing him settled, his family is just going to have to accept that Cupid’s arrow will be skipping this Sullivan. That is, until he meets Kerry Dromoland…and suddenly Adam starts to question everything he once believed to be true about falling in love.

As one of the top wedding planners in Seattle, Kerry has been waiting her whole life to find her own true love. So even though Adam makes her heart race and her body heat up every time they’re together, she knows better than to think he could be “the one.” Still, knowing he’s Seattle’s biggest player doesn’t make it any easier to resist his breathtaking kisses and wicked caresses…or the fact that he makes her smile more than any man ever has.

But when Kerry desperately needs Adam’s help—and he comes through for her without the slightest hesitation—she begins to realize that there just might be more to the man she can’t resist than she’d previously thought. Can the bad boy with no interest in being reformed—and the woman who has no interest in reforming a bad boy—find forever together?

All I Ever Need is You is my first Bella Andre book, and if her others are anything like this one, then it definitely won’t be my last. I absolutely adored this audiobook – I honestly don’t have a thing to complain about it. The narration was excellent, the story was a joy to listen to, and I loved the main characters. I honestly can’t believe I haven’t experienced The Sullivans series sooner, but now I’m eager to go back and read – listen – to the previous books!

She was the polar opposite of the kind of woman he was normally attracted to.
And yet, only one thought would form in his whiplashed brain: Where the hell had she been all his life?

Adam Sullivan is the last of his siblings to have his story told, and this cynical, eternal bachelor expects to never fall in love. But then he meets Kerry Dromoland, his brother’s wedding planner, and he can’t seem to get this woman off his mind. She’s the one woman he can’t stop thinking about, and the more time they spend together, the more the chemistry burns between them. Adam can’t offer his heart to her, since he doesn’t believe love is for him, but he can offer his body, so the two start a no-strings sexual affair that ends up leading to so much more.

Kerry, being a wedding planner, has always wanted her own perfect wedding with the man of her dreams. She won’t settle for anything less, but the feelings that Adam brings out of her are unlike anything she’s ever felt. Bella Andre did a wonderful job writing the burning chemistry between these two characters – I could feel how much they wanted each other and how they’ve never felt that way with someone else. There’s a spark in Kerry and Adam’s characters that had me connecting with them from the very start, and I couldn’t help but root for them and be invested in their romance.

What I loved best about Adam and Kerry’s relationship was the fact that they became such good friends, the best of friends, even when they were lovers. They grew close enough to be able to lean on one another and support each other, so it was easy to see them as a real couple, because they clicked so well. I also LOVED how Adam made such a 180 in his feelings towards love. Kerry makes him believe in love – there’s just too much sweetness as Adam tries to win Kerry’s heart and make her believe in them as a couple. Adam absolutely stole my heart! He was a wonderful hero I fell so hard for.

“You and I, we’re good alone. But together? Together we’re unstoppable.”

As an audiobook, All I Ever Need is You was absolutely perfect. Eva Kaminsky was spot-on in her narration – her voice is easy to listen to, it flows so well, and I swooned at the way she narrated Adam’s dialogue! She’s now my favorite female narrator and I’m definitely going to go and listen to the other audiobooks in the series just for her narration.

Basically, I loved listening to this audiobook. I adored the sweet, gorgeous romance, and Eva Kaminsky’s narration made it all the more enjoyable. I highly recommend it!

Gabrielle Boudreaux, the youngest of the Boudreaux clan, is a single mother of her young son, Sam. Running a Bed and Breakfast at the family plantation house at the edge of the Mississippi River, Gabby loves her inn, her boy and her family. She meets new people every day, and takes pride in the house and land that has been in her family for more than five generations. Blessed beyond measure, she’s also lonely, although she would never admit that to anyone. Until Rhys O’Shaughnessy walks through her door, brooding and wounded and the sexiest thing she’s ever laid eyes on.

Rhys has been at the top of his game as a major league pitcher for the Chicago Cubs for more than ten years. Baseball is in his blood. But when he tears his rotator cuff and has to sit a season out, he retreats to Inn Boudreaux at the recommendation of his cousin, Kate, to heal and work toward building his shoulder back to perfect shape with only one goal in mind: to return to the game he loves. But he didn’t plan on being utterly charmed by a devastatingly beautiful woman and her baseball-loving son.

When Rhys’ shoulder has healed and he’s given the chance to return to his team, will he leave the family he’s come to love behind, or will he stay with Gabby and Sam?

I’ve never read a book from Kristen Proby before, but now I’m thinking I should, because I was taken away by how sweet Easy Charm was. And, of course, Sebastian York is one of the narrators, so how could I not enjoy this audiobook? I may not have completely loved this book, as I didn’t connect with the story as much as I wanted to, but the sweetness of the romance and fantastic narrators made up for it and I ended up enjoying listening to Easy Charm very much.

As each book in the Boudreaux series can be read as a standalone, I didn’t need to read Easy Love before getting into Easy Charm. This second book features Gabrielle Boudreaux, the youngest of the Boudreaux siblings. She’s the darling daughter of the family, so she’s very much loved and protected. So when she finds herself pregnant, and the father not wanting anything to do with her and their child, she has the support of her family. Now, she’s a fierce woman, a protective mother, and the owner of a successful inn. I didn’t really connect well with her character, but it didn’t stop me from liking her as a person. I really admired Gabby as a mother, and I adored her son Sam. He’s so sweet, and Gabby is the perfect loving mother to him.

Rhys O’Shaughnessy is a famous baseball player who’s been injured, so he needs to take a break to heal his wound. His cousin recommends he stay at Gabby’s inn, and when he shows up, he’s immediately taken by her. There’s an intense chemistry between them, and Rhys is sweet and determined in his seduction of Gabby. He intends to win her and her heart, but what he doesn’t expect is to fall for her son, too. Rhys is such a good guy. He’s charming, protective, and utterly smitten with Gabby and Sam. He was a bit too flawless for my taste, but I could still see how perfect he was for Gabby.

Easy Charm is an easy, angst-free, fairly predictable book, but the narrators certainly made it enjoyable. I loved listening to Sebastian York’s voice, and Rachel Fulginiti did a great southern accent. They were both just really easy and nice to listen to. I’d listen to anything Sebastian York narrates, of course, but Rachel Fulginiti really took the spotlight in the book for me.

I’m rating 3 hearts for the story, and 4 for the narration, so 3.5 hearts for Easy Charm!

The rules:

No dating.
No sex outside of the game.
No disclosing the terms of the contract.

Rules were made to be broken, right?

Eight weeks ago I signed a contract. One that seemed like a good idea at the time. A handsome bachelor, luxury accommodations, and a chance to win a prize my family desperately needed. There were some rules though. Lots of them actually. Follow the script, no dating, sex, or disclosing the terms of the deal. After my self-imposed moratorium on men the last year, it wouldn’t be hard to live up to my end of the bargain… so I thought. Until I realized the deal I’d made was with the devil… and I was in love with his dirty-talking brother.

Hurray, this is my first audiobook review on the blog!! I only recently started listening to audiobooks a couple months ago – I never thought I’d enjoy them very much, but I do! Although it might be because the first audiobook I ever listened to was Dirty Rowdy Thing by Christina Lauren and Sebastian York’s delicious LOVELY voice was narrating it. He’s also one of the narrators in this audiobook, Throb, so I couldn’t not love listening to this because of him.

The heroine, Kate, is a contestant on a new reality TV show that’s similar to The Bachelor. She agrees to the terms of not being with any man other than the bachelor, Flynn, during the show in order to win the prize money and help out her family financially. She finds herself actually caring for Flynn, but… then she meets Cooper. Kate and Cooper have such a hot, intense chemistry that no man can compare with him, sadly for Flynn.

I’ve never read a book by Vi Keeland before, but I really enjoyed Throb. It had great characters, the story was unique and fun, and the audiobook itself was easy to follow. I adored the hero, Cooper. He’s sexy and alpha and domineering, but also sweet and tender to Kate. He falls for her deep and hard, so it’s hard not to love the way he loves Kate and takes care of her and her family. Kate was also a good heroine – she’s likable and cares so much for her family. They were two characters with hot chemistry and I was rooting for them from the beginning.

I LOVE Sebastian York, so of course his narration is my favorite part of the Throb audiobook. His voice is just so nice and dreamy to listen to! I really liked Molly Glenmore’s voice too, though it took me a bit in the beginning to warm up to it. I really liked how she narrated the male dialogue though. I’ve come to realize that I prefer both male and female narrators in the audiobooks I listen to, because I love getting both POVs and listening to the male POV. Throb definitely made me happy with its dual narrators.

If you’re a fan of The Bachelor, I highly recommend giving this book a try. I liked the sexy, forbidden aspect to the story, since Kate, as a contestant on the reality TV show, can’t be with anyone during that time, but Kate and Cooper make their way around that rule 😉

Throb overall is an enjoyable, sexy book with great narrators. It was so much fun to listen to – I’m hoping the sequel, Beat, will also be available as an audiobook!
