★ ACK it’s the cover reveal for the upcoming book #7 in the Kate Daniels series (one of my favorite series ever!), Magic Breaks! This comes out August 5th 2014 (too far away!).

No matter how much the paranormal politics of Atlanta change, one thing always remains the same: if there’s trouble, Kate Daniels will be in the middle of it…
As the mate of the Beast Lord, Curran, former mercenary Kate Daniels has more responsibilities than it seems possible to juggle. Not only is she still struggling to keep her investigative business afloat, she must now deal with the affairs of the pack, including preparing her people for attack from Roland, a cruel ancient being with god-like powers. Since Kate’s connection to Roland has come out into the open, no one is safe—especially those closest to Kate.
As Roland’s long shadow looms ever nearer, Kate is called to attend the Conclave, a gathering of the leaders from the various supernatural factions in Atlanta. When one of the Masters of the Dead is found murdered there, apparently at the hands of a shapeshifter, Kate is given only twenty-four hours to hunt down the killer. And this time, if she fails, she’ll find herself embroiled in a war which could destroy everything she holds dear…

★ Better is the sequel to Good in the Too Good series by S. Walden, and releases November 19th 2013.

Their relationship has been exposed, and now their lives are changed forever.
For Cadence Miller, the fast track to adulthood proves intimidating and frustrating. She’s a little girl lost—abandoned by her family and uncertain of her future. She doesn’t think she “fits” anywhere. She’s eighteen. She wants to be older. And the result is both comical and heartbreaking.
Mark Connelly will do anything to provide Cadence a stable, loving home—to be her protector. But he’s just as broken and lost, and his heart won’t let go of his past so easily. He knows he should share his secret with Cadence. He should trust that she’ll understand. But what if she doesn’t? What if their love doesn’t grow stronger?
What if it doesn’t get better?
★ Catch Me, a new novel by Claire Contreras (author of There is No Light in Darkness) comes out Fall 2013!

In the past, I’ve always been given everything I’ve wanted, but nothing that I truly needed. I’ve experienced a lot of things in my twenty-five years, everything except the one thing I want. It’s the one thing that can’t be bought. It can’t even be taken, it has to be given. And nobody has ever given it to me, not really anyway.
Not until him.
Music is the center of both our lives, but as he found his place in it, I lost my way. He soared, while I spiraled down a destructive path.
I lost myself in more ways than I can count.
The ironic thing is that I didn’t realize how lost I was until he found me.
And now that he has, I have to wonder if he’ll stay around long enough to catch me.
★ Nikolai by S.L. Jennings is a Dark Light Series spin-off novella and releases in November 2013.

Two centuries ago, I clawed my way into a world of immorality, filth and destruction. A world seething with secrets and lies, both mortal and immortal.
Complete and utter Darkness.
I know we’re supposed to be inherently evil, but something inside me refuses to fully believe our legends. Something that calls out for more…calls out for her.
But there are rules. Rules that control the balance of nature. And if broken, it could destroy everything I’ve ever known. It could destroy me.
I am Nikolai Skotos, son of Stavros and Delia, and brother of Dorian, the heir of the Dark throne. I am one of the most powerful Dark forces to have ever walked this earth.
And I once was lost.
Now, I’m about to give it all up for the girl that found me.
*This is a PREQUEL NOVELLA for the Dark Light Series, NOT Book 3, to be read AFTER reading Dark Light & The Dark Prince*

★ Sixth Grave on the Edge by Darynda Jones has a cover! The Charley Davidson series is one of my favorites, and it’s SO hilarious! I highly recommend it!

Few things in life can come between a grim reaper and her coffee, but the sexy, sultry son of Satan is one of them. Now that she’s agreed to marry Reyes Farrow, Charley Davidson feels like it’s about time she knows more about his past. With Reyes reluctant to open up, Charley decides to take matters into her own hands and investigates secretly when the official FBI file of his childhood abduction lands in her lap. Because what could go wrong with that?
Unfortunately, another case has fallen into her lap, too—one with dangerous implications. Some very determined men want to find a certain witness who is scheduled to testify against their boss, a major player in the local crime syndicate. If Charley doesn’t come up with an address in 48 hours, the people closest to her will start to disappear.
On top of that, Uncle Bob has a bizarre case involving random incidents of knifing in Albuquerque’s Old Town. He suspects supernatural forces are at play, but can’t solve the case without Charley’s expertise.
Good thing for Charley she’s used to multi-tasking and always up for a challenge…especially when that challenge comes in the form of Reyes Farrow.

★ It’s another teaser for Until You (Fall Away #1.5) from Penelope Douglas’ Facebook!
Her eyes were hooded, but she tried to keep going. “The scars on your back,” she started. “You said you had a bad summer, and that when you came back you wanted to hate everybody, but you haven’t treated anyone else as badly as—“
“Tate?” I cut her off and closed the inch left between us. My breathing turned shallow, and all I could see were her lips. “I don’t want to talk any more tonight.”
She stood there, grounded like a tree and waiting for the inevitable storm. She wanted my lips on hers. Her breathing and eyes on my mouth told me that.
Please don’t stop me.
Her skin was like touching cool silk, smooth like butter. I couldn’t wait for her hair to be in my fists.
And then she jerked, as if waking up.
“You don’t want to talk anymore?” Her strong voice broke the spell, and my legs tensed, waiting for her to hit me again.
“Well, I do,” she yelled, and I sprang into action when I saw her twist around to launch another key into the forest.
Hell!
Circling my arms around her body, I pulled her, struggling, into my chest. I don’t know what I was thinking. She was pissed, and she wasn’t going to get over any of it quickly.
But she was mine.
And she was going to realize that fact…even if I had to…
You don’t apologize. You don’t beg! My father’s words came back to me.
I hated almost everything he’d taught me, but that was one lesson I’d committed to practice. Apologizing was a sign of weakness.
But I wanted Tate’s love.
My heart only beat for her, and I’d rather spend my life hating, loving, fucking, and breathing her than losing her.
You need to apologize, dickhead.
“Shhh, Tate,” I whispered into her ear. “I won’t hurt you. I’ll never hurt you again. I’m sorry,” I said, closing my eyes as I swallowed the bitter pill.
“I don’t care about you being sorry! I hate you.”
Well, at least you feel something, I laughed to myself.
Still securing her with both arms, I used my hands to peel open her fingers and pry out my keys.
I let her go, and she stepped forward and spun around to face me.
“You don’t hate me,” I challenged with a grin before she had the chance to speak. “If you did, you wouldn’t be this upset.”
“Go screw yourself,” she spat back and turned, stomping away.
Where did she think she was going?
If she thought I was going to let her traipse home, in the dark, on a deserted road, she was out of her fucking mind!
Digging my feet into the ground, I took off after her, spun her around and threw her over my shoulder. She landed hard, her stomach caving to my shoulder, and I had a huge desire to keep her there and walk home.
Fuck the car.
Well, almost.
“Put me down!” She kicked her feet and punched my back, and I tightened my hold, willing my fingers to stay put.
Her ass was next my head, and goddamn, I wanted to take advantage of her position in her short skirt.
But in her current mood, she’d probably cut off my dick.

★ Jay Crownover has a fourth book called Nash, which set to release April 29th 2014.
Today is the day! I can finally stand on the highest mountain in Colorado and scream from the top of my lungs that Nash, Rowdy and Asa are officially headed your way!! So very excited to share the news with everyone. That’s right, my super awesome editor, Amanda and the team @ HarperCollins want the world to get a little more Marked.
In fact the worst kept secret in the whole world is that Nashis already available for pre-order and coming out in April, right on the heels of Rome.
I’m so very lucky and feel so fortunate that I get to share the rest of the boys with my readers. I can’t wait for all of them to get their HEA.
Nash is the nice guy, but every nice guy has his limits. Rowdy is the joker but all that humor and quick wit hides a lot of inner turmoil. And Asa, well I never thought he was going to make it out of Jet alive so we’ll have to see if he turns it around and gets his act together.
I really hope this early morning freak-out makes everyone as happy as it makes me. I have a big mouth and not being able to say anything about what was in store for the rest of the boys was KILLING me.
Xoxo
