Top 10 of Elizabeth’s Lines/Scenes from Felix

Oh my favorite lines from Felix! This should be fun!

Okay this is kind of tricky because there are some favorite moments I CAN’T mention since they include spoilers. So here are some of my favorite non spoilerish lines! =/

Number 10: In the beginning Ella tries in vain to deny her attraction to Felix.

Ella could definitely see why so many women wanted a piece of him. As much as she hated to admit it. He was amazing.

Number 9: Famous last words

“Kind of plain-looking nice girl.” Felix winked at Abel. “So far it sounds like you got nothing to worry about.”

Number 8: The moment it hits him.

Ella was something else and then it hit him. That’s what it was. She was what he’d heard so much about and had never gotten it. Ella had natural beauty.

Number 7: Hector’s amusement about razzing Felix and what he’s not admitting yet that he feels for Ella.

“I wasn’t”—Felix turned again to make sure Ella and Carmen weren’t on their way back—“hogging her okay?”
Charlee laughed. “Are we embarrassing you, Felix?”
“No!”
Hector laughed now too. “How cute,” he said in the most annoying coddling voice. “I don’t think I’ve ever seen your face get all red.”

Number 6: More of Hectors amusement

“Oh, I know who that is,” he heard Hector say. “That’s the guy working with Drew on the documentary: Conner. Charlee mentioned he had a thing for Ella and would be coming down to ask her out.”
Felix stopped in his tracks and spun around. Hector’s head fell back and he laughed. “I fucking knew it!” He shoved Noah in the arm. “Didn’t I tell you?”

Number 5: That first moment when the reader can say finally! *sigh*

Felix let go of her hand and brought his hands up to cup her face, kissing her softly again because he just couldn’t resist anymore. “I’m asking you to give me a chance,” he said between kisses.
“A chance for what?” she whispered but kissed him back as eagerly as he’d begun to kiss her.
“To prove to you that I want more.”

Number 4: A little insight on Felix’s anatomy. 😉

“You know they say he’s hung like a—”
“Carmen!” Ella gasped, nudging her friend. She covered her own mouth and looked around but had to laugh. “How in the world would the tabloids know that?”
“Easy,” Carmen said, giggling. “You know the stalkarazzi stops at nothing, and apparently, he sunbathes naked at that resort he frequents so much down in Mexico.”

Number 3: Sweet little Ella can be naughty

“I don’t have to go home tonight. We can spend all morning at your place tomorrow if that’s something that might interest you. It’d be nice if I could show you my gratitude for making me feel like such a princess.” She licked the rim of the ice cream cone slowly then licked her lips and smiled. “All day.”

Number 2: How can an alpha moment not make it into my top 5?

Noah looked up at Felix and smiled. “She’s fine. Just lost track of time. She’s already called Nel—”
“With who?” Felix demanded. Noah gave him a strange look. “Ask her who the fuck she was with.” Gio finished and Felix pulled his hands free. “Give me that. I’ll ask her myself.” The second the phone was at his ear he did. “Who were you with?”

Number 1: Understanding Felix’s awesome cover.

The moment he was off the phone with her, the phone slipped out of his hand and he fell to a knee and crouched over but didn’t collapse like he thought he might. One knee was still up and he used it to support his arm; his other fist pushed against the floor, keeping him from just falling over.

“No, not Ella,” he lied. “One of the guys I’ve been working with.”

Hector turned to look at him, still smirking. “You sure? Because you looked like you were getting ready to go talk to Ella and, uh, her friend there. Who is that she’s having lunch with?”

“I dunno,” Felix lied again, looking around trying his damnedest to look uninterested in Ella and her friend.

“The guy I’m looking for isn’t here,” he said and started to walk away.

“Oh, I know who that is,” Hector said. “That’s the guy working with Drew. Charlee mentioned he had a thing for Ella and would be coming down to ask her out.”

Felix stopped in his tracks and spun around. Hector’s head fell back and he laughed. “I fucking knew it!”

He shoved Noah in the arm. “Didn’t I tell you?”

Now here’s an excerpt from Wild! ❤

excerpt

“I gotta go,” I said hurriedly, turning to walk around the Jeep, ready to climb in the backseat, not even caring how obvious I was in trying to put distance between us by unnecessarily circling around the vehicle.

I felt him move behind me before I felt his hands on my arms. “No, you don’t,” he growled. “You don’t get to run away again.”

I squeaked as he hauled me back against his chest. My spine stiffened iron-rod straight against the wall of his broad chest. I felt my eyes go huge in my face. He was touching me. Again. And I was freaking out on the inside. I sucked in a deep breath, determined that my freak-out stayed internal only.

“Let me go. They’re coming.” My heart hammered violently in my chest and I didn’t know if it was because we were about to get busted by my friends or because his body felt so unbelievable against mine. Okay, fine. It was both.

His mouth brushed my ear as he spoke, spiking sensation to every nerve in my body. “Are you embarrassed, Georgia? You don’t want them to see me with you? Don’t want Pepper and Reece to know about us?”

“There is no ‘us.’ ”

“Oh, but there will be. We both know why you came tonight.” His fingers flexed, each digit a burning imprint on my forearms.

“Yeah?” Was that breathy croak my voice? “Why?”

“Because you haven’t been able to forget what it felt like to kiss me, and you want to know if the rest of it will be that good, too.” He bit down on my earlobe and a whimper escaped my lips. “It will be.”

An invisible band squeezed around my chest. I swallowed against my constricting throat. “Arrogant much?”

“It’s okay. I haven’t been able to forget either. I can still remember the way you taste.”

Oh. My. God.

I swallowed a moan and lurched free from him. Swinging around, I faced him and felt my knees go weak at the look in his eyes. Heavy-lidded and deep, his blue eyes looked almost indigo as they stared down at me.

“I know you probably think it’d be some great joke to bang one of your brother’s friends, but I’m not going to be another notch on your bedpost . . . some girl you screw once and forget about the next—”

He moved fast then, closing the space that I had established between us. Oh, yeah. He was a jock with ninja-fast reflexes. I needed to remember that.

I gasped as his hand slid around my neck, fingers burying in the hair at the base of my scalp. He lowered his head, dropping his forehead against mine until our breaths clashed and mingled. His fingers pressed and massaged the back of my head, shooting sensation straight to the core of me. Holy hell. Was that some kind of secret pressure point?

His words gusted over my mouth. “You think we’d fuck just once?”

My stomach plummeted at his blunt words.

He took my hand and dragged it between us, pressing my palm to his crotch—against the outline of his cock in his tight baseball pants. It hardened, growing beneath my touch and I felt an answering ache clench between my thighs. God, it had been so long.

“This doesn’t feel like a joke to me. You don’t,” he growled in a tight voice. “I want to do things to you . . . things a clean, vanilla girl like you never dreamed of. Things that tool boyfriend of yours never came close to doing to you.”

“Ex-boyfriend,” I replied automatically.

At my response, Logan pushed my palm harder against him, rubbing the hard ridge of him. A tiny moan escaped me as the ache squeezed between my legs.

He angled his head. “I think you want me to do dirty things to you, Georgia.”

The New York Times and USA Today bestselling New Adult author returns with a sizzling novel of love, loss, guilt, and forgiveness.

When Grey and Ben fell in love at thirteen, they believed they’d be together forever. They never dreamed that three days before their wedding, twenty-year-old Ben would suddenly die from an unknown heart condition, destroying his would-be-bride’s world. Grey would have spent the next two years simply going through the motions if it hadn’t been for their best friend, Jagger. He’s the only one who understands her pain … the only one who knows what it’s like to force yourself to keep moving when your dreams are shattered.

While everyone else worries over Grey’s fragility, Jagger is the only one who sees her strength, and vows to always be there for her-even if it’s only as her best friend. As much as he wants Grey, he knows her heart will always be with Ben. But when Grey finds out that Jagger has loved her since before he even knew what love was, it might prove to be too much for her to handle.

Grey soon realizes their chemistry is undeniable, and they learn that admitting their feelings for each other means they’ve got to face the past. Is being together what Ben would have wanted . . . or a betrayal of his memory that will eventually destroy them both?

Oh, wow. This book completely took me by surprise, and I loved it. It was the perfectly angsty read – not too much that it was excessive, but just enough to have me aching for the characters to get a happily ever after they deserved. I grew to care for Grey and Jagger. Theirs is a story about losing a loved one, but letting go and moving on all the while finding love again.

“Letting go doesn’t mean forgetting. It’s accepting, forgiving, and being emotionally ready to keep moving.”

Grey and Ben had the type of romance people dream about – they were childhood best friends, they loved each other since they were young, they were going to get married – until everything changes when Ben unexpectedly dies right before their wedding. Grey is devastated, and the one person who can pick up the pieces of her heart and soul is Jagger. Jagger, was also Ben and Grey’s best friend… Jagger, who has always been in love with Grey.

Jagger has been the one constant Grey has been relying on the two years after Ben’s death. She’s not over his death, but she’s slowly moving forward, which she could never have done without Jagger. Jagger is just happy the girl he loves is slowly healing, even if she has to take it day by day. He doesn’t need her to love him back, he doesn’t need her to know he’s in love with her – he’s content to be there by her side. But everything changes when Grey finds out Jagger is in love with her.

“I love you. I’m pretty sure I’ve been in love with you since we were nine, Grey,” he admitted. “I always felt like you were mine . . . I was in love with you long before I knew what it actually meant to be in love with someone.”

Jagger is literally the sweetest hero I’ve ever read. He makes my heart hurt with how much he loves Grey, how much he’ll do anything for her. He really is the perfect hero for Grey: he’s patient, loving, understanding, kind. He doesn’t push Grey to love him back; he’ll accept anything she’s willing to give.

As Grey reconciles how she’ll love anyone after Ben, she comes to realize that she’s been in love with Jagger for a while. Somewhere along the way, she fell for him, but she feels like she’s betraying Ben for falling for his best friend. It’s tough seeing the anguish going through both Grey and Jagger, but Molly McAdams writes them in the most realistic way as possible. I never once felt the story was too unbelievable or fake. I was able to feel Jagger and Grey’s love for each other, a thing that could never be considered wrong or a betrayal. These two were always meant to be together.

There’s so much heartbreak for Grey and Jagger, but they come out stronger in the end. Letting Go is a heartwarming romance that shows that you can find love even after the most devastating of circumstances. It’s an emotionally exhausting read, but I’m glad I had the chance to read Grey and Jagger’s beautiful story.

Molly McAdams grew up in California but now lives in the oh-so-amazing state of Texas with her husband and furry daughter. Her hobbies include hiking, snowboarding, traveling and long walks on the beach, which roughly translates to being a homebody with her hubby and dishing out movie quotes. When she’s not at work, she can be found hiding out in her bedroom surrounded by her laptop, cell, Kindle and fighting over the TV remote. She has a weakness for crude-humored movies, fried pickles and loves curling up in a fluffy comforter during a thunderstorm…or under one in a bathtub if there are tornados. Promo Tour + Author Interview & Giveaway: Addicted After All by Krista & Becca Ritchie

Addicted After All Tour Banner
Click the banner to see other stops on the tour!

Welcome to today’s stop on the ADDICTED AFTER ALL promo tour!! So excited to be a part of it! I get to interview the ah-mazing Krista & Becca on the blog today.

AAA releases on Oct. 31st, which is also Lo’s birthday! AAA will also be the FINAL book in Lily and Lo’s POV’s in the Addicted series. I love the Addicted series so hard – it’s honestly one of the BEST series I’ve ever read. If you haven’t started this series yet, go go go!

Don’t forget –

FIVE. MORE. DAYS!!!!

Author Interview: Krista & Becca Ritchie

SO excited to interview you two again, Krista and Becca! ❤

So… *sniffles* This is the LAST book in Lily and Lo’s POV. What do you two have to say about that? (It’s definitely a bittersweet thing for me.)

Krista: It’s extremely bittersweet! I love Lily & Lo, they’re the couple that started it all and so it’s definitely hard to say goodbye. I think I was in a state of denial for 99% of the writing process. It really wasn’t until that very last chapter that I started bawling my eyes out. But even though it’s the end, I truly do believe it’s the right end for them.

Becca: We were totally in denial all the way through. Then we hit Lily’s last ever POV chapter, and it hit us full force. I love Addicted After All so much because it bridges themes from the beginning of the series, and Lily & Lo’s evolution is truly spotlighted. That’s all I can really say without being too spoilery 😉 But this book has become my favorite so far.

Did either of you cry while writing AAA? Or while writing any of the other books?

Krista: We cry while writing all the time lol! But for AAA it was especially rough, since this is the last book for Lily and Lo. And if I wasn’t wearing my noise cancelation headphones, I could actually hear Becca sobbing while she typed. We usually immerse ourselves into the story so much that if the characters are crying, we’re crying. If they’re laughing, we’re laughing. We’ve even been known to make the same facial expressions they would be making while we write. It’s one of the reasons we could never write in public! People would look at us like we’re crazy.

Becca: What Krista said! We cried a lot during Thrive, but the heavy sobbing came from Addicted After All. I think Kiss the Sky had the least amount of tears but many more laughs 🙂

Do you think readers will cry while reading AAA?

Krista: It just depends what type of reader you are. I know some readers who never cry in books. But if you’re more of an emotional reader *points to self* then I think you might at least tear up. I bawled. But…that’s me 😉

Becca: If you love Lily & Lo, it’ll probably be hard not to cry by the end. But like Krista said, it probably depends what kind of reader you are. As previously told, I’m clearly a heavy crier. I need a box of tissues next to me at all times.

(I’m totally the type of reader who rarely cries, but I have a feeling AAA will bring on the waterworks…)

How would you describe the feel of AAA compared to the other books in the series?

Krista: The other Lily and Lo books are very tortured. They’re at their rock bottom in Addicted to You, Lily reaches another bottom at Addicted for Now, and Lo hits another bottom in Thrive. They’ve been through a hell of a lot, and in Addicted After All they’re much less tortured but they’re still struggling with major life changes. I’m not sure if there is a tone for that. *looks to Becca for a better answer*

Becca: Hmmmm. I agree with Krista that Addicted After All isn’t as tortured as Addicted to You. It’s more light-hearted than possibly the rest of Lily & Lo’s books. They’re really able to be themselves without being saddled twenty-four-seven with their addictions. So light-hearted, a bit of fun, and of course, lots of emotion.

How long exactly is AAA? Is there a page or word count yet?

Krista: We can give you word count. We don’t know the exact page count until the book is formatted into paperback—which happens after the ebook is published. AAA is around 152,000 words. By comparison, Addicted for Now is 149,500 words. So yeah, it’s chubby.

Becca: It’s a big chubby one! Hopefully we’ll have the paperback ready soon. We’re going to hop on it as quickly as we can.

(Hurraaaay for chubby books!! 🙂 )

Will there be any OMFG moments in AAA?

Krista: Oh yeah! The big OMFG moment in AAA should surprise…everyone.

Becca: Yes!! I’m really looking forward to seeing how people react to *that* scene. Hopefully it’s a surprise or shock and whatnot. We didn’t know that people would love Connor’s lap dance in Kiss the Sky as much as they do, so it’s possible my guesses are a little off. But I’m thinking you all will be surprised 🙂

(Eeeep!!! SO excited to read the OMFG moment now!)

How much are you going to miss writing in Lily and Lo’s POV’s?

Krista: Immensely! We try not to think about it too much because then it does start becoming sad. I love, more than anything, writing in Lily’s POV. I love her humor. I love her quirkiness and all her flaws. I just love her. So it’s sad, but I have to remind myself that I have 5 books with her, and I can reread them anytime I want. It’s not the same as writing new material, but it’s better than nothing.

Becca: I adore writing Lo, out of everyone in the series. He’s probably my favorite. But I love where his story ended, and I’m okay with not going back. Because then it’d mean torturing them some more. And if anyone deserves a bit of rest, it’s them.

Do you two have anything to say to the fans that have stuck by Lily and Lo since the beginning?

Krista: We seriously never dreamed that anyone let alone so many people would love these characters enough to last 5 or 7 books with them. It’s just amazing. So thank you from the bottom of our hearts for reading their journey and sticking with it. We hope AAA is everything you wished it to be.

Becca: I think it takes very, very strong people to fall in love with Lily & Lo and to see them for more than their addictions. That’s all they want in life, and the fans of the series—who stand behind them—are giving that to Lily & Lo. It means the world to us.

(Love this!)

Any last words you’d like to say to Lily and Lo? (Even though I know it’s not the last we’ll see of them, we won’t have their POV’s anymore…)

Krista: Oh god. I might start crying again while I write this. Okay *collects oneself* Lily, you’re the one who started it all. Who took us on a huge journey and made all of our dreams come true. You never used to believe in yourself, but we’ve always believed in you. You made us laugh. And you made us cry. Your love story was one we always wanted to share—an epic romance with soul-binding love—and for that we thank you for existing on the pages. For coming to life in one way or another. *looks to Becca* Alright, I’m crying. You’ll have to say your piece to Lo.

Becca: I’m already tearing up. But here I go. Loren Hale, you are not worthless. You never were. Thank you for standing by Lily from beginning to end. And there are so many people standing beside you. You’ve made us see reasons for standing up. Reasons for living life. And continuing on. Your love for Lily has profoundly impacted us, and we’re grateful to be able to share your love story with the world.

(Aaawwwww, so sweet!!)

Okay, because Connor Cobalt is my ULTIMATE BOOK BOYFRIEND, I have to ask for a Connor teaser! *bats eyelashes* Pretty please?

Krista: Ultimate! YESSS! I approve of your book boyfriend choices. But, you know, I’m not biased or anything 😉 And a Connor Cobalt teaser, I’ll leave this for Becca. I’m afraid I’ll say too much.

Becca: Um. Um. Um. We’ve mentioned this briefly, but I think it’s a pretty good teaser for anyone who missed it. Connor is in a bit of a fight with someone throughout AAA. It’s not a leading cast member, but it’s someone that can definitely rival the intelligent smartass. And you all have met his new rival before.

Amour Amour is the next upcoming release after AAA! Is there anything new you can share about it?

Krista: We love writing about families. It’s one of our favorite elements in movies, TV shows, and books. The Addicted series has a huge focus on sibling and parent relationships. And you can also expect to see some family drama in Amour Amour.

Becca: And the circus! We’ve always wanted to read a book that focuses on acrobatic circus (think Cirque Du Soleil) and less carnival. So it’s a bit of an “athletic” book set in Vegas with twenty-somethings. It’s really fun, and it was extremely addicting to write. We had to pry ourselves off the computer.

(I’m SO excited for Amour Amour!)

What are you two working on right now?

Krista: Right now, as of writing this interview, we’re both focused on AAA tour materials. But as soon as we finish, we’re going to start the final revisions of Amour Amour and the early draft of Fuel the Fire.

Becca: We’re also working on bonus material for Connor & Rose plus Ryke & Daisy. There are more than a couple scenes that we’d been itching to write. So in any spare time we have, we jump to it and type away.

(Can’t wait for more bonus material!)

Thank you so much for the interview, Krista and Becca!! I’ll be counting down the days until AAA releases! ❤

Thank you so much for having us on your blog! Your questions were so amazing ❤

Two addicts. One epic love story.

Prepare for the worst.

That’s what Lily and Lo try to do when Jonathan Hale schedules an “important” meeting. The problem: after being swept into the public eye and battling their addictions, they’re not sure what the worst is anymore.

In a sea of many changes—including Ryke & Daisy living with them—Lily realizes that the best part of her fluctuating hormones might just be the worst.

Her sex drive is out of control.

Loren knows that she’s insatiable, but he’s not giving up on her. She’s too much a part of him. And as he carries more and more responsibility, some of the people that he loves doubt his resolve.

In the conclusion to their love story, Lily & Lo stand side-by-side to fight, one last time, for their happily ever after.

Twelve. Twelve of the deadliest beasts ever forged in the fires of hell have escaped onto our plane, and they want nothing more than to rip out the jugular of Charley Davidson and serve her lifeless, mangled body to Satan for dinner. So there’s that. But Charley has more on her plate than a mob of testy hellhounds. For one thing, her father has disappeared, and the more she retraces his last steps, the more she learns he was conducting an investigation of his own, one that has Charley questioning everything she’s ever known about him. Add to that an ex-BFF who is haunting her night and day, a rash of suicides that has authorities baffled, and a drop-dead sexy fiancé who has attracted the attentions of a local celebrity, and Charley is not having the best week of her life.

A tad north of hell, a hop, skip, and a jump past the realm of eternity, is a little place called Earth, and Charley Davidson, grim reaper extraordinaire, is determined to do everything in her power to protect it.

We’re doomed.

Now here’s an excerpt from Seventh Grave and No Body! ❤

excerpt

“Now, let’s see what you’re capable of.” He crossed his arms over his wide chest. His hair curled around his ears, the thick dark mass shimmering in the low light. “Just play along for a minute.”

“Okay, what do I do?”

He lowered his head and gazed at me from underneath his lashes. “Imagine I’m one of the Twelve,” he said, his voice soft, smooth.

“One of the Twelve. Got it.”

“Now drop me.”

“Drop you.”

“Like you did today.”

“No,” I said, alarmed. “What I did this morning was not okay. You couldn’t breathe.”

“It was brilliant.”

“It was reckless,” I argued.

“Dutch,” he said in warning.

“Fine.” I lowered my lids and morphed into a lean mean fighting machine. I’d imagined myself as a coffee machine for so long, it was difficult, but I managed it. I opened my eyes and bore my gaze into his. “You are the disease and I’m the viral inhibitor that blocks attachment to the host cell and prevents the release of cloned viral particles, attacking from both ends.”

He fought a smile, then asked, “Where’d you get that?”

“Theraflu commercial, mostly.”

“Dutch,” he said in warning again, “drop me or you’ll wish you had.”

I didn’t doubt his words, though I had no idea what he would do to make me wish I had. After drawing in a lungful of air, I concentrated, ordered myself to drop him.

He kept his gaze locked on mine. “Dutch,” he growled, giving me one more warning.

But I couldn’t figure out what to do to drop him. I didn’t want to hurt him. I didn’t want to put him through what I’d put him through that morning.

I blinked, and in that instant, he was on me. He grabbed me by the throat and lifted me as though to body-slam me on the bed. Without thought, I slowed time to his speed, then slowed it more, until I had the advantage. Until I had the strength to break free from his hold, to twist my legs around, to grab him by the throat, and to use time itself to help me force him over my shoulder, to flip him and slam his body onto the ground.

As I allowed time to grab its footing again, the sound deafening as it ricocheted into place, I said one simple word to make sure I kept the advantage for a few seconds more.

“Excrucio.”

Reyes’s back arched as the pain hit him. He threw his head back in agony and growled between clenched teeth, his muscles tense as though seizing. I watched for a split second and wondered, as time settled around us, if I could cause pain, could I do the reverse? Could I cause pleasure?
