Falling in love was just the beginning

The conclusion to the epic ten-book series about the unbreakable strength of family, friendship, and love.

Lily & Lo are back one final time. Childhood best friends and soul mates.

Ryke & Daisy are back one final time. Wild risk-takers and flirty adventurers.

Connor & Rose are back one final time. Genius rivals and intellectual teammates.

Ten years of laughter. Of heartache. And love.

This series… I honestly can’t believe it’s over! I’ve been putting off reading/listening Some Kind of Perfect because I really, really didn’t want to let go of these beloved characters, but now I’m so happy I finally got to experience this final Addicted/Calloway sisters book. SKoP is a full-length epilogue novel to the series, so it must be read after you’ve read the entire series. And yes, the series is pretty long which can seem daunting, but I promise, once you get into it, you won’t want to let go of these characters either. And if you have been keeping up with the series, you HAVE to experience Lily, Loren, Rose, Connor, Daisy, and Ryke one last time!

I don’t really want to spoil anything about this book or what goes on in it, but honestly, if you love the Addicted characters, you will only fall head over heels in love with them all over again in SKoP. We get all six characters’ POVs, and they are just as true to themselves as they have been throughout the series. I think that might be my favorite part of Krista and Becca Ritchie’s incredible development of their characters – that no matter what life throws at them, no matter what they go through, whether it’s scandal or even parenting, they are still the same characters we know and love… only better.

Listening to SKoP was an incredible experience, and I know I’ll definitely go back and listen to it again (probably after I listen to the entire series… again). I loved all six narrators, especially since Rose, Connor, Daisy, and Ryke’s were all the same ones from past audiobooks. Maxine Mitchell and Gregory Salinas were great as Lily and Lo, but I have to admit I do miss Erin Mallon and Charles Carr’s narrations. I’m not sure why LiLo’s narrators changed, but I’m still happy with their new voices!

This is one of the few series where I have read all the books AND listened to them in audio. The Addicted series is seriously one of my all-time favorite series in the whole world, and it’s for sure my number one New Adult series to date. I’m not sure anything could live up to the fantastic writing, the brilliant character development, and the unforgettable characters this series has. But I’m seriously looking forward to more from K&B, especially the spinoff series, Like Us!

Best Books of 2015 + Giveaway!

Can you believe it’s already the end of 2015!? It went by SO fast, and yet it’s been an amazing year filled with so many incredible books. I read over 300 books this year (what!?) and I STILL have a never-ending TBR, which I’m sure will last me my lifetime. So to celebrate the end of the year, I’ve compiled my list of my top 15 books of the year, PLUS a fantastic giveaway to win one of the books below and a $15 gift card! It was so hard to narrow down to 15, but I really tried. So here they are alphabetical order (except for one)! Let me know in the comments what your favorite books of 2015 are!

1. Kulti by Mariana Zapata

Kulti by Mariana Zapata

My Review • Ebook • PaperbackAudible • Goodreads

KULTI!!!!! Hands down, Kulti is my absolute FAVORITE book of the year!!! This book is the only one out of order because it’s seriously the BEST book I’ve read this year. It was just so easy to choose my all-time favorite, because Kulti is that amazing and more. This was my first read from Mariana Zapata, but I know it won’t be my last. I adored EVERY single word of Kulti – the hilarious, sassy heroine, the moody, sexy hero, the friends to lovers romance between them, even soccer. This is simply romance at its finest.

“Every single thing that has ever happened in my life has led me here, Sal. Destiny is a ladder, a series of steps that takes you where you’re supposed to go. I am the man that I am, and I have done the things that I’ve done, to get me to you.”

2. Risking it All by Tessa Bailey

Risking it All by Tessa Bailey

Ebook • Paperback • Goodreads

I went on a Tessa Bailey reading marathon this year and literally read every single one of her books, and Risking it All is seriously my FAVORITE of them all! BOWEN!!!! I’m obsessed with this alpha bad boy. The love he has for his heroine, the way he’ll do anything for her and to protect her, his dirty mouth… it takes my breath away. Risking it All was the perfect bad boy-good girl read!

“Ah, sweetheart, I don’t fuck around with virgins.” His head dipped, teeth closing around her ear and tugging. “But I’ll get down on my knees and eat that untouched pussy like a motherfucker.”

3. Zack by Sawyer Bennett

Zack by Sawyer Bennett

My Review • Ebook • Audible • Goodreads

Zack is my faaavorite Sawyer Bennett book to date! This was the perfect forbidden love story between a widowed single father and his son’s babysitter. It was sweet, charming, emotional, surprisingly funny, and seriously hot as hell. It’s also a hockey romance (who doesn’t love those!?), so for fans of sports romances, you definitely need to read this book (and series). Each of the books in the Cold Fury Hockey series can be read as a standalone, but I highly recommend read them in order.

“You were what has been missing all my life.”

4. The Friend Zone by Kristen Callihan

The Friend Zone by Kristen Callihan

My Review • Ebook • Paperback • Goodreads

I still cannot get over how freaking HOT that cover is. Just look. at. it. I adore every one of the books in the Game On series, but The Friend Zone is without a doubt my favorite of the series so far. It’s a friends to lovers book, which is my all-time favorite trope, so how could I not love it!? It’s a fantastic NA sports romance with hilarious characters and the sweetest, most heart-warming romance there is. Gray just makes me SWOON!

“The fact is, Ivy, for me, there is one absolute truth. The sum of my existence equals you.”

5. The Master by Kresley Cole

The Master by Kresley Cole

Ebook • Paperback • Audible • Goodreads

I have to admit, I’ve already reread The Master at least five times over the course of the year. I wasn’t a big fan of the first book in The Game Maker series, but when I read this second one, it blew me away. I was seriously addicted to Cat and Maksim’s story! Cat is one of my favorite heroines ever, because she’s just so hilarious and sassy and doesn’t hold back from Maksim. And holy god, Maksim!!! He is sex on a stick. If you’re looking for a fantastic erotic romance, you absolutely NEED to read The Master!

“You aren’t done with me yet?” He pinned my gaze with his own. With a surprisingly smooth accent, he told me, “Nunca voy a terminar contigo.” I’ll never be done with you.”

6. Aflame and Corrupt by Penelope Douglas

Aflame by Penelope Douglas Corrupt by Penelope Douglas

Aflame: My Review • Ebook • Audible • Goodreads
Corrupt: Character Q&A • Ebook • Paperback • Goodreads

I’m cheating here a little, including two Penelope Douglas books, but I had to! Aflame and Corrupt are my two favorite reads from Penelope this year. First off, I am so, so happy she decided to write Aflame. Even though I was hesitant to read it, it really did feel like the right direction for Tate and Jared, and I couldn’t be happier with the way their story continued in Aflame. This book is the perfect ending to one of my all-time favorite couples, but mainly, I just LOVED reading about Tate and Jared again.

“For better or worse, you’ve been my other half since I was ten years old, and I can’t imagine a future I’d want without you in it. You’re the love of my life.”

As for Corrupt, this book totally messed with my mind. It left me speechless in the best way possible – I had such high expectations since the second this book was announced, and I wasn’t disappointed. Rika and Michael’s story consumed me, and I honestly still can’t get it out of my mind. It’s an unforgettable, gritty, thrilling read, and if you like dark erotic romances, you absolutely MUST read this book.

“Our scrapes and bruises, tattoos, scars, smiles, and wrinkles told our stories, and I didn’t want a pristine piece of wallpaper. I wanted her and everything she was.”

7. Manwhore series by Katy Evans

Manwhore by Katy Evans Manwhore +1 by Katy Evans Ms. Manwhore by Katy Evans

#2 ~ Manwhore +1: My Review • EbookPaperbackAudible • Goodreads
#2.5 ~ Ms. Manwhore: My Review • Ebook • Paperback • Audible • Goodreads

Malcolm. Freaking. Saint!!! AHHH!!! This gorgeous billionaire stole my heart and took my breath away! Katy Evans knows how to write alpha-males, and she hit it out of the ball park with Malcolm Saint. If you love heroes who will sweep you away, you absolutely must read the Manwhore series. I am obsessed with this series!!

“Do you know what I’d do for you?” A huskiness enters his voice as he circles my chin with his thumb. “You’re the only heaven I will ever know, Rachel”–He looks into my eyes–“and if you were a hell, I’d sin my whole life just to stay with you.”

8. Bad Habits series by Staci Hart

With a Twist by Staci Hart Chaser by Staci Hart

#1 ~ With a Twist: My Review • Ebook • Paperback • Audible • Goodreads
#2 ~ Chaser: My Review • Ebook • Paperback • Goodreads

I’m so happy to have discovered Staci Hart this year. She’s a new-to-me author and I LOVED her Bad Habits series. Each of the books in the series can be read as a standalone, but I highly recommend reading them in order, because each is very closely connected to each other. With a Twist is a charming friends to lover romance and Chase is the sexy older brother’s best friend trope. All of the characters in the series are written so well that they felt real to me, and I can’t wait for the third and final book!

“I’ve been around the world, and I thought I’d seen everything it had to offer until that night, until I saw you. In all my life, I’ve never seen anything so beautiful, not standing in the Blue Mosque or the Taj Mahal. Not in the streets of rome or canals of Venice. Making you smile gives me life. Making you laugh gives me hope. Making you happy is all I want, other than to keep you.”

9. November 9 by Colleen Hoover

November Nine by Colleen Hoover

My Review • EbookPaperbackAudible • Goodreads

What’s a top favorite list on Booklovers For Life without Colleen freaking Hoover!? And it just so happens that November 9 is #9 on my list! You guys, I loved this book. It was such a unique, addicting read. CoHo’s writing is flawless as always, and the fascinating storyline (the main characters meet once a year) kept me riveted to the pages. If you haven’t read Colleen Hoover’s books yet, you really need to get on that. Her books are NA at its finest!

It took four years for me to fall in love with him.
It only took four pages to stop.

10. Off-Campus series by Elle Kennedy

The Deal by Elle Kennedy The Mistake by Elle Kennedy

#1 ~ The Deal: My Review • EbookPaperback • Audible • Goodreads
#2 ~ The Mistake: My Review • Ebook • Paperback • Audible • Goodreads

The Off-Campus series just might be my favorite sports romance series of the year. I LOVED The Deal – this is a must-read NA book. I didn’t think Elle Kennedy could top it, but I was so wrong. The Mistake, Logan’s story, is definitely my favorite of the series so far. Logan is hilarious and so adorable, and the way he makes his mistake up to Grace makes for an incredibly entertaining read. This book – and series – is well-written, funny, heartwarming, so freaking sweet… You absolutely need to read it if you haven’t already. (And btw, The Score is SOOOO GOOD!)

“I need you. I can’t stand the thought of being without you.” He releases a shaky breath. “You’re the last person I think about before I go to sleep, and the first person I think about when I open my eyes in the morning. You’re it for me, baby.”

11. Elements of Chemistry series by Penny Reid

#1-3 ~ Elements of Chemistry Bundle: Ebook • Paperback • Goodreads

I’m so ashamed to say that I only started reading Penny Reid this year. I have seriously been missing out! She writes the best, SMART romances with witty characters and fantastic stories. The Elements of Chemistry series is my favorite of hers yet – I loved Katy and Martin’s journey of a romance. I loved the way their characters developed and grew over the course of the series. Their story is funny, sweet, addicting, and so much fun to read.

“Why do people care about each other? What is attraction? I can’t give you a list of reasons why I react to you like I do. This isn’t an equation to balance. You’re the one I’m always thinking about. It’s you. It just is.”

12. Fuel the Fire by Krista & Becca Ritchie

Fuel the Fire by Krista & Becca Ritchie

My Review • Ebook • Paperback • Audible • Goodreads

Rose and Connor make up my all-time favorite power couple!!! I adored them in Kiss the Sky and fell in love with them even more in Fuel the Fire. This book was… phenomenal. I’m so glad Rose and Connor got a second book, but I’m going to miss them so much! They are unique and endlessly fascinating and I could honestly read about them forever. And just for the record, the Addicted/Calloway Sisters series is my FAVORITE NA series of all time, so if you haven’t started it yet, I can’t recommend it enough!

There are rare people who will fuel the fire inside of you, who will awaken a dormant passion, who will challenge you, who will push you and better you. She alone is my rarity.

13. The Hotter You Burn by Gena Showalter

The Hotter You Burn by Gena Showalter

My Review • Ebook • Paperback • Audible • Goodreads

I had no idea what I was in for when I started The Hotter You Burn – I found myself utterly charmed by this book. Gena Showalter has written an absolutely delightful, feel-good, heartwarming romance that I can’t recommend enough! It’s equal parts wickedly sexy and heartwarmingly sweet. The humor in this book had me giggling so hard, and it was just so easy to fall in love with the characters and story. I can’t wait to read the other books in The Original Heartbreakers series after reading this gem of a novel!

“There is nothing I won’t do for you, and nothing I won’t do to keep you. You’re it for me. My one. My only.”

14. Archangel’s Enigma by Nalini Singh

Archangel's Enigma by Nalini Singh

My Review • Ebook • Paperback • Audible • Goodreads

Naasir’s book was a long time coming, and Nalini Singh did NOT disappoint. This book was captivating, sensual, heart-pounding, and unputdownable. I don’t read paranormal romances much these days, but reading Archangel’s Enigma reminded me of all the reasons why I love that genre. Naasir stole my heart and I was swept away by his and Andromeda’s romance. The romance is truly one of the best I’ve read from Nalini Singh, which is saying something, because her romances are top-notch.

“If you’re mine, you’re mine. And I’m yours. Today, tomorrow, always.”

15. Untamed by S.C. Stephens

Untamed by S.C. Stephens

My Review • EbookPaperback • AudibleGoodreads

Untamed is the book that surprised me the most this year. I didn’t like Kiera and Kellan in Thoughtless, and I honestly thought I’d never pick up another book in that series again. But Untamed had me curious since it was Griffin’s story… and it simply blew me away. It took me a while to get into it, since Griffin is just so crass, but by the end of it, I nearly wanted to cry, I was so emotional. This book was surprisingly so much more meaningful and heart-wrenching than I’d expected, and I applaud S.C. Stephens for the incredible way she wrote Griffin’s character development. I’ve never felt more proud of a character than I had when I with Griffin when I finished his story.

I’d been handed fame on a platter and hadn’t appreciated it until it was too late.

Welcome to today’s stop on the promo tour for Long Way Down by Krista & Becca Ritchie!!! I’m so, so, sooo excited to have Krista & Becca here today on the blog with an interview! Check it out below – and don’t forget that Long Way Down releases on Nov. 20th (3 more days)!

Author Interview: Krista & Becca Ritchie

This is the FINAL book in the Addicted series (kinda)!!! I can’t believe it’s almost over! How are you two feeling about this?

Becca: so many emotions! I bounce back between being overcome with joy to being overcome with sadness. Bittersweet is probably the best word.

Krista: Bittersweet is the perfect word! We’re so ready to share the end of the series with everyone, but at the same time it’s a bit heartbreaking to finally let it go.

What were your thoughts right after you finished writing Long Way Down?

Becca: It’s over. Omg. It’s over. I started bawling.

Krista: I’ve never cried so much. And it’s not a normal crying, it was the full-on snot-nosed, blubbering. My thoughts ranged from this is everything we hoped it’d be to this can’t be the end. And then cue more waterworks.

How would you describe Daisy and Ryke at the start of LWD?

Becca: By this time, they’ve been a couple for a long while. They’re not so much in the honeymoon stage of their relationship like they were in Hothouse Flower. They know each other really, really well. Recently, they’ve been through some personal struggles (this was show at the end of Fuel the Fire) and that weighs heavy on their minds.

Krista: Completely agree with Becca! The Daisy and Ryke you see in LWD is one you haven’t had the chance to see yet. They’re a solid couple in the later stages of their relationship.

How would you describe Daisy and Ryke to someone who’s never read them?

Becca: Adventurous but extremely caring and giving. Ryke Meadows will literally take the shirt off his back and hand it to a stranger if they need it more than him.

Krista: I also think they’re both a bit misunderstood. Ryke comes across as very aggressive, but he has a soft heart. Daisy can seem too nonchalant, young and carefree, but she has very serious moments and this internal maturity that not many people see.

What can Raisy/Addicted fans expect in LWD? Any OMFG moments?

Becca: Plenty of OMFG moments! Long Way Down has a little bit of everything and then a lot of other things 😀

Krista: Long Way Down is a huge book! So like Becca said, there’s a little bit of everything.

This is Daisy and Ryke’s final book. Any last words you’d like to say to them?

Becca: Daisy, I just want to tell you that sometimes people might not hear you or see what you’re going through, but there are people who love you and people who do care. I’m very proud of all that you’ve overcome. Thank you for letting us write your story. You mean so much to us.

Krista: Ryke, thank you for literally pushing your way into this series. Had it not been for you, some of the characters wouldn’t have had the growth they needed. Your relationships with friends, family, and Daisy have been some of our favorites to write. Thank you for allowing us to put your journey to paper. We fucking love you.

Of course, I have to ask, how big is LWD? Is it the longest of the series?

Becca: GIANT. IT IS FAT. Without a doubt.

Krista: It’s much, much bigger than even our biggest novel.

We know LWD isn’t quite the end for the Addicted series. Why did you decide to write a full-length epilogue book?

Becca: There are things that we want to show “after” Long Way Down, and instead of just writing little snippets of bonus material, we’ve decided to combine it all together. It’ll give a fuller, more detailed picture of “the end” than when you see in Long Way Down. It’ll also be a good bridge book to the Like Us series, which is a spin-off of the Addicted series.

Krista: That’s the perfect explanation! We’re planning on writing enough for it that it wouldn’t feel right just releasing it as bonus material.

Lastly, what are you two currently working on? Is there anything you can share about Some Kind of Perfect or Infini?

Becca: We’ll share more info about Some Kind of Perfect after Long Way Down releases. It’s kind of spoilery if we try to discuss it now. Infini is going to be so much fun! We can’t wait to share it. It’s a childhood best friends to lovers story with a bit of a twist 😀

Krista: We’re currently plotting both Some Kind of Perfect and Infini. After we take a little reading break (we haven’t read in ages!), we’re going to start writing those two.

Thank you so much for the interview, girls!

Becca: Thanks so much for having us on your blog!!

Krista: Thank you!!!

Protect your family. At all costs.

It’d take the impossible to hurt Connor Cobalt, even for a moment.

Protect your family. At all costs.

At twenty-six, his narcissistic tendencies have made room for the people he loves.

Protect your family. At all costs.

And he loves Rose. But when his love is threatened, when his greatest dreams with her are compromised — what is the cost then?

Protect your family. At all costs.

Love will guide his choices.
For the first time in his life.

“I’m tragically in love with you, and I wouldn’t want it any other way.”

Fuel the Fire was simply incredible. I laughed, I shed some tears, and I never thought I could love a couple as much as I do Rose and Connor. This is their final book, and it’s here that we see these two wonderful characters truly shine in their element. If you’ve read Kiss the Sky and loved them? Thought you knew them? Well, Fuel the Fire will have you discovering so many more beautiful things about Rose and Connor, and you’ll definitely be falling in love with them all over again. In this book, they’ll be put to the ultimate test… and the stakes are so much higher now with their loved ones – their beloved daughter, siblings, friends – on the line.

I never realized how bored I had been with life. How mundane my surroundings looked. How unchallenged I’d become.
I never realized all of these things.
Until I met her.

I don’t want to say much about the plot because I think it’s best to go into this book blind, but I will say that I absolutely adored getting to know Connor and Rose. I mean, getting to know them MORE. So much more. We get to experience their lives as a married couple, as parents, and we also get to see how they were as teenagers. And still, I wanted more. I honestly could read about Connor and Rose forever. They’ve come a long way since we first met them in Addicted to You – Connor, the narcissist incapable of love, and Rose, the cold-hearted bitch. Now, they’ve both accepted love into their lives and they’ve become so much better for it. They’re a part of a family they’ll do anything to protect, even if it’s their own lives at stake.

Together, we’re a force of nature to be reckoned with. That’s not my hubris speaking. It’s just the truth.

When I think of the word POWER COUPLE, Connor and Rose are IT. This couple is one-of-a-kind – they are two of the most intelligent, captivating, fascinating, loving characters I’ve ever read, and the dynamics of their relationship are flawless. Theirs is an intellectual love, though I’m definitely not discounting the physical aspect of their relationship (*cough* Connor is a sex god *cough*). The outside world may not SEE their love or understand it, but in private, there is no doubting the fierce, passionate, heartwarming love they have for each other. If you loved Connor and Rose’s relationship in Kiss the Sky, you are going to LOOOOVE how they are in Fuel the Fire. Their bantering in French, their glares and smirks, everything is the same and yet not. There’s a depth to everything that wasn’t there in Kiss the Sky, which makes me all the more grateful that the authors decided to write a second book for Rose and Connor.

There are rare people who will fuel the fire inside of you, who will awaken a dormant passion, who will challenge you, who will push you and better you. She alone is my rarity.

Of course, we also get to see the rest of the Addicted gang! Plus some Willow and Garrison (who I pray will have a book of their own!). Family is such an important aspect of this series, and I’m in total awe of how Krista and Becca Ritchie continue to write these characters so richly with such heart and depth. They write these characters that I wish they were real. This series is the only one I can think of where I 100% love ALL the characters (although my love for Connor is more like 150%).

If you can believe it, I actually took my time with Fuel the Fire. I spent this whole past week reading this gigantic book (I say this with love, because chubby books – at least Krista & Becca’s chubby books – are the best!) without rushing. I honestly just didn’t want to let go of Connor and Rose. This couple is my absolute FAVORITE of the Addicted series (sorry LiLo and Raisy!). Actually, Rose and Connor make up one of my favorite couples of all-time, so I’m so incredibly sad that we won’t have their POVs anymore. GAH! Just thinking about this makes my heart hurt.

Honestly, I’m so happy to have had the privilege of reading about and getting to know Connor and Rose. Fuel the Fire was phenomenal. I didn’t think I could love Connor and Rose more after Kiss the Sky, but I was wrong. I’m going to miss Connor and Rose so much!

Fuel the Fire is the 3rd book in the Calloway Sisters series, a spinoff series of the Addicted series. While it’s not necessary to read the Addicted series before the Calloway Sisters series, I HIGHLY recommend it! All the characters are first introduced in the Addicted series, so you get a fuller, richer experience if you read the Addicted series before/along the Calloway sisters series. Plus, it’s just a freaking AWESOME series to read! Here is the full reading order of the Addicted/Calloway Sisters series.

ONE. MORE. WEEK!!!!

Author Interview: Krista & Becca Ritchie

5 words to describe Fuel the Fire?

Krista: I never know if I’m supposed to answer this with five unrelated words or make a sentence, so I’m challenging Becca to make a sentence. Here are my 5 words: Romantic, Emotional, Intelligent, Surprising, Sexy

Becca: 5 words: how do you measure love

How was it like being back in Rose and Connor’s POVs? Was it as difficult as it was the first time?

Krista: It was almost harder than the first time. I think we both can attest that Fuel the Fire is the most difficult book we’ve ever written. The challenge was returning to Rose and Connor after being in three different couples’ heads (Lilo, Raisy, and then Nikolai and Thora from Amour Amour) for the past year. On top of that, we had forgotten how challenging writing with Connor really is. He’s a character that diffuses conflict, which makes it that much harder.

Becca: I think it took us a little bit of time to adjust, but once we did, their POVs were a nice welcome back 🙂 Of all the characters too, I feel as though Rose & Connor challenge us to be better writers. We have to elevate our style to match who they are, and I love them for that. At the end of writing Kiss the Sky and now Fuel the Fire, I had this overwhelming feeling, knowing we did our absolute personal best—and it’s so rewarding to experience that.

What was the best part about writing Fuel the Fire and being in Rose and Connor’s POVs again?

Krista: The banter, definitely. They just have their own way of conversing that’s so unique to them. It’s actually going to be sad to walk away from it. They’re also just such a romantic couple and adding that with their love-hate relationship, it creates this wonderful paradox that’s so much fun to write.

Becca: We can also elevate the lingo and use words that we’d crave to use in other POVs but the other characters don’t say often. Like “indignant” or “fervent” are two that I can name right now. Like Krista, I also loveeee writing their banter, and for Fuel the Fire, we were able to go back in time and write their first time meeting each other (which is the prologue). I could probably write a whole “Rose and Connor: the Younger Years” book because their wit is so much fun for us.

Will there be any OMFG moments (like the EPIC lap dance! *giggles*) in Fuel the Fire?

Krista: Yes! We always have a variety of OMFG moments in our books but we never know which one readers will pick out as the OMFG moment (*ahem* the lap dance). We know there are tons of shocking moments in this one, so I’m really excited to see which one readers will deem worthy of being the OMFG moment.

Becca: I agree with Krista on this one. After we wrote Kiss the Sky, we had no idea that everyone would love the lap dance to that extent. We always try to add unexpected moments into the books that we consider OMFG worthy, but we’re waiting to see which ones you think will be THE moment when you all read it 😉

Do you know the word/page count for Fuel the Fire? (PLEASE tell me it’s going to be a chubby book!)

Krista: We’re actually compulsive editors, so we don’t know if we’re going to delete something a couple days before the release. What we can say is that Fuel the Fire is longer than Addicted After All, which is our biggest book.

Becca: It’s chubby for sure 🙂

Since you two aren’t parents, did you have to do a lot of research for everything baby-related?

Krista: We did have to do research. And luckily one of our cousins is a young mom, so we were able to ask her for some tips.

Becca: Our mom also provided insight and stories and answered any questions we had, so we always knew we could turn to her.

How do you two feel about Fuel the Fire being the final book in Rose and Connor’s POVs?

Krista: It’s so bittersweet. On one hand, I hate saying goodbye. On the other hand, I know this is the right story for them and that they have enough closure where there can’t really be another book. And Fuel the Fire almost wasn’t going to happen. It was really by the power of the fans of this series that we decided to go forward with it last year, so I look at it as more of a blessing than anything.

Becca: Yep, when we wrote Kiss the Sky, we never planned to write in Rose & Connor’s POV again. I had more bittersweet feelings back then, I think. The feeling of this one is more like yes. Thank God we did this. Thank God we had fans who wanted us to write this. Thank God we grew the courage to finish it. I can’t even imagine this book not existing. It gives so much depth to Rose & Connor and their beings, and so I’ve ended this journey with them just completely happy and satisfied. It’s one of the best feelings.

Lastly, can you give us a non-spoilery teaser about my #1 book boyfriend AKA Connor Cobalt? *bats eyelashes*

Krista: Oh gosh! A non-spoilery teaser is going to be hard. Hmmm. You’re going to see lots of different sides to Connor Cobalt in this book. It goes a lot deeper than Kiss the Sky ever did.

Becca: We’ve been very hush, hush on the spoiler front, but I suppose I can give a tiny, tiny one and say that Sadie (Connor’s cat) will be talked about in FTF 🙂 Rawr!
